Once again, The Hammonton News’ online poll has apparently been the target of spam voting. This week’s poll asks which party’s campaign has most impressed you. The votes:

Looks like the Dems and Hammonton First are the big contenders? Well, take a look at how many people voted: over 900. Now, go back to the News link, and look at the poll results for the previous weeks’ polls: not since July has a poll had over 100 votes. And that poll was about stockton, hitting over 1000 votes. We’d have to think the same padding happened then as well. And before that, no big vote numbers until the poll for who has the best slate of candidates, and that poll hitting over 200 receipients.

Let’s face it, campaigns draw out the repeat voters. Let’s just hope that doesn’t happen in the voting booths!
