Hammonton Highway Dept Supervior Falls Off Roof

From The Hammonton News:

Lance Schiernbeck, superintendent of the Hammonton Highway Department, was on the roof of his Wood Street home Nov. 7 using a motorized blower to clear leaves from the gutters of his home. He fell and landed on a concrete walkway.
“I apparently lost by balance,” said Schiernbeck, 60. “The last thing I remember was trying to grab on to the blower.”

I would like to thank all of Hammonton’s great residents for their prayers and kindness shown to me. I am grateful for all the kind words I have gotten. Hammonton residents are the BEST people in the world. Thanks to all. Special thanks to Sgt. Friel and Lt. Fiorentino for their quick responce and kindness. Chief Ingemi for his great concern. Also thanks to the Hammonton Rescue Squad for their quick and efficient response I will continue to be there ( thanks to Gods grace) to help residents with all that I can do as the towns highway director. I will continue to serve all Hammontons citizens. Lance

Lance is a good honest man – the kind that HF hates that’s why they always harass the good people and honor the evil. Lance if you can survive the harassment of HF you are a very strong man and will be back on your feet in no time at all. I just hope that HF’s pit bull – April isn’t harassing you. Take care and get well soon. This town loves you more than you know.
